Joey Pants was born in Lansing and has lived in the Lansing area for all 38 of his years. Growing up in the small farm town of Webberville, Joey had strong work ethics and the gift of gab instilled in him at an early age. He first began entertaining the masses at the Ingham County Fair in the 80's during rabbit shows. Then later when he showed and sold his pigs. "Hey, the fair was a great place to meet chicks." He said with a sinister grin. After graduating Webberville High in 1993, Joey became a fence builder, a factory worker, a pole climber, a cable splicer, a hi-lo driver and everywhere people would tell him "you NEED to be on the radio!" So, in the year 2002 he graduated the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts and began working here in Lansing. His first job was running the board for MSU Womens Basketball games. Eventually, he began producing and being the "Sports Dog" on the Wilson Caldwell Show on 1240 WJIM AM. His first FM radio shift was at Oldies 97.5. He also had the priveldge of working at the Legendary WITL Whitehouse with the late, great Jay J. McRae. In November on of 2004 while filling in on the morning show on WMMQ, Joey was reenacting the murder of Ralfie on the Sopranos when Deb Hart referred to him as"Joey Pants!" and it stuck. In December of 2004 Joey was offered the Afternoon Drive slot on WMMQ by the Late, great "Evil" Mark Stevens and has never looked back. In December of 2011, Joey teamed up with Deb and their reign of terror continues to this day.
